I’ve just written a short article about the baboon deity Babi and, in an ideal world, would like to put a photograph of the troublesome deity with it. I have scoured the Web for one with copyright attributions but although there are several on people’s pages it is impossible to see who owns the copyright, and the website owners have not replied to my emails. I’ve also scoured museum online collections without success. So if anyone has one in their collections of photos that they could let me use I would be most grateful. All I can say that it is completely in character with Babi for me to have difficulty finding a photograph of him!
