I have a bit of a theory about what this was. Wouldn’t it be nice if these tunnels were used during the Raising of the Djed Pillar ceremony? I can see priests walking down the tunnel in photos 3 and 4 into the room in photo 2 where they could perhaps reorganize for a further procession into that lower temple of the Osireion. I wonder if anyone has written a dissertation on this part of the temple?
